6/13/17 - McCormick is a 6-foot-1 185-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.26 laser timed 60 and a 4.51 home to first.  He has an 87 mph exit velo. At the plate,  balanced stance, short stride, minimal load, hands dominate swing, level path, feel for the barrel, consistent hard contact to middle of the field.  In the outfield, 75 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, quick catch and throw, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, McCormick has an over the top release, quick arm speed, throws on a downhill plane, in line stride, strong lower half, lands in line down the mound, throws with some effort, fastball 77-79 mph, breaking ball has 12-to-6 shape, 64-66 mph.
