10/28/18 - Kilpatrick is a long and lean 6-foot-5 180-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and left-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 7.19 60 and a 4.64 home to first.  He has a 78 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts loaded on back side with square base, hands start separated, short stride, accelerated bat, loose hands generate bat whip, level bat plane, gap to gap approach, occasional pull side power.  On the infield, short over the top arm slot, quick catch and throw, 72 mph positional velocity, fluid actions to the ball, works through the ball with momentum in feet, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Kilpatrick has a quick tempo in his delivery, slight tuck and rotation at balance point, hides the ball well, arm has short arm circle, works out front and down the mound, throws three pitches for strikes, fastball at 77-80 mph, breaking ball has slight and late 1-to-7 action, works at the bottom of the zone, 64-68 mph, controls change up with near fastball arm speed, 63-64 mph, occasional arm side sink.

At the plate, wide stance with smooth rhythm and minimal load, short stride, consistent pull side line drives during batting practice.  On the infield, 68 mph positional velo, high three-quarters release, athletic footwork to the ball and around the bag, accurate throws. On the mound, Kilpatrick has a lone and lean frame, over the top release, slight tuck at balance point, in stride, fastball at 67-72 mph.
