2/23/14 – Fischer is a well-built 6-foot-3, 210-pound 1B.  Fischer has quick feet, soft hands and is a good target at 1B.  He has a high ¾ release and top throw of 79 MPH with very good accuracy.  Offensively, Fischer impressed with his bat speed and consistently squared up the ball in batting practice.  He has the ability to use both gaps with power to the pull side.  Fischer has a level swing path with good extension.  He posted an 82 exit velo and ran a 4.87 home-to-first.

6/19/13: Fischer is a lanky 6-foot-3, 180-pound corner infielder who showed to be a sure handed fielder. He has short arm action from a ¾ arm slot with accurate 65-68 mph throws across the field. At the plate, Fischer had a good second round of batting practice, making some adjustments. His swing stays level through extension, showing ability to make consistent contact and produce gap-to-gap line drives.

2/19/13: Fischer is a 6-foot-3, 170-pound first baseman who features an athletic, lanky body type. At the plate, Fischer has a balanced setup; he features a smooth load and a good lower half that helps him generate some bat speed. He showed ability to hit the ball to all fields, with a top exit velocity of 80-mph off the bat. At first base, Fischer showed to be a confident fielder with good hands and footwork while turning double plays and accurate throws.
