8/2/16 - Hagedorn is a 5-foot-10 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2017 class.  He ran a 6.93 60, one of the top times for the event, and a 4.17 home-to-first, also one of the event's best for LHH.  He has a 91 mph exit velo, top for LHH. At the plate, showed power to both gaps during batting practice, minimal load, loose and quick hand, quick bat speed, feel for the barrel, solid consistent contact, stayed inside ball with a pair of ground balls to the shortstop in game action. Behind the plate, pop times between 2.02 and 2.20-seconds, one of the top times for the event, quick twitch actions with feet and hands, short over the top release, accurate throws, some with carry, 71 mph positional velo.

6/7/16 - Hagedorn is a 5-foot-10 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher from Smith Cotton High School in Sedalia.  He posted one of the top left handed hitting exit velos of 91 mph, one of the top for the event. At the plate, starts with loaded stance, no wasted movement in hands, quick and aggressive swing, power to pull side, consistent hard contact to pull side during batting practice.  Behind the plate, pop times between 1.97 and 2.17, one of the top pop times for the event, 73 mph positional velo.  Behind the plate, quick catch and throw, feet work with hands, momentum through the catch, throws are mostly accurate to the bag with carry.
2/21/16 - Hagedorn is a 5-foot-10 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2017 class from Sedalia Smith-Cotton HS.  He ran a 3.97 home-to-first, one of the top LHH times of the event, and has an exit velo of 90 mph, one of the top pop times of the event. At the plate, athletic stance, smooth load in back leg, short in-line stride, aggressive hands, mostly hard hit pull side line drives during batting practice.  Behind the plate, 2.00 to 2.15 pop times, one of the top pop times of the event, 73 mph positional velo, mostly accurate throws, over the top release, quick twitch player, quick catch and throw, soft hands.
6/16/15 - Hagedorn is a 5-foot-10, 167-pound left-hand hitting catcher. He ran a 60 time of 7.09. Nick throws from an over-the-top arm slot and has short arm action. He has very quick actions and a clean exchange. His position velo was 69 mph from behind the plate. Hagedorn had a pop-time range of 2.00 to 2.19. At the plate, Hagedorn has an athletic slightly open setup with a smooth load. He has quick hands, short path to the ball, and maintains a level bat path. Nick’s swing produces gap-to-gap line drives and. He had an exit velo of 86 MPH.
2/16/15 - Hagedorn is a 5-foot-10 165-pound left-handed hitting catcher, showing considerable improvement from last event, 1.93 to 2.12 pop times, mostly accurate throws, 73 mph velo, quick exchange and release, quick feet, has mobility, at the plate, 89 mph exit velo, 4.06 home-to-first, starts open and loaded in back leg in stance, lands slightly closed, minimal hand movement, fast bat speed, pull approach with power.
6/24/14 – Hagedorn is a strong, athletic 5-foot-7, 165-pound left-hand hitting catcher. He ran a 60 at 7.06 and home-to-first 4.41. Nick posted a POP time of 2.09-2.19. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot. His throws were fairly accurate and had some carry. His position velo was 68 MPH. At the plate, Hagedorn has an open setup with a short stride. He has fast bat speed with a strong lower half. Nick has good balance and produces line drives. Hagedorn had an exit velo of 84 MPH.
Another of the youngest players of the event, the 5-foot-7, 165-pound Hagedorn showed some advanced ability for a player of his age. Behind the plate, Hagedorn displayed a clean exchange and accuracy on this throws, with a top pop time of 2.18. In the outfield, Hagedorn finds the ball quickly gets to his spot, with some accuracy on his throws. At the plate, the lefty hitting Hagedorn has good hip rotation and a short, level swing that extends through contact producing some line drives. With some more strength and physical maturity, Hagedorn should see an increase in power at the plate. Hagedorn also ran a 7.31 60.
