5/31/16 - Criss is a 6-foot-2 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 6.80 60, one of the top for the event, and a 4.51 home-to-first.  He has an 88 mph exit velo, one of the top RHH velos.  At the plate, consistently barreled up balls during batting practice, gap-to-gap approach, open stance, smooth load, short path to contact, level swing path, quick bat speed, singled though the hole at short in game action.  In the outfield, athletic actions, high three quarters release, athletic footwork, quick catch and throw, mostly accurate throws with carry, 86 mph positional velo, among the top outfield velos. On the mound, Criss was 79-83 mph with is fastball, one of the top velos for the event, throwing a majoritiy of strikes, some had late run, breaking ball has 11-to-5 action, late and sharp, 69-73 mph, controllable change up at 77 mph with sink, over the top release, aggressive down the mound, repeats delivery, throws strikes with three pitches, attacks zone.

2/20/16 - Criss is a athletic 6-foot-2 172-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class from Staley HS. Criss ran a 4.18 home-to-first, one of the top RHH times for the event, and has an exit velo of 89 mph, one of the top RHH exit velos for the event.  At the plate, has athletic set up, controlled leg lift, hands separate from stride, level bat path to extension, strong and quick hands, gap-to-gap approach, power to pull side of field.  In the outfield, plays through the catch, high three quarters release, quick catch and throw, 84 mph positional velo, one of the top outfield velos for the event, athletic actions. On the mound, throws with regular effort and smooth rhythm, controlled leg lift, inline stride, three quarters release, strike thrower with three pitches, fastball at 80-82 mph, curveball at 73-73 mph, late 11-to-5 action, tight spin, starts on same plane as fastball, change up at 74-77 mph, near fastball arm speed, late sink.
