5/13/23

Slowed by a hamstring injury that has affected his plus run tool, the Razorback center fielder also has the ability to play on the dirt. As a sophomore at Kansas, Josenberger started 52 games at second base before transferring to Arkansas for his junior season. His fringe-to-average arm strength plays at either spot and is regarded as an above average defender in the outfield. He runs strong routes and makes routine plays look easy. His defensive highlight of the South Carolina series was turning a near home run at the wall into a casual catch. At 6-foot, 185 pounds, the switch-hitter leads off for the Razorbacks where he shows a better approach, swing and bat speed from the left side. Although he has homered seven times and doubled nine times this spring, his raw power is currently below average and game power a grade lower. His top exit velocity over South Carolina was 102 mph on a ground ball single. He profiles as a utility type player in the Major Leagues and will likely be selected in rounds 6-10 this summer.
