8/11/19

Williams is a lean and athletic 5-foot-10, 140-pound, right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class. On the mound, Williams has an easy delivery, arms and legs coming at the hitter, deceptive as he hides the ball behind his body up until release, will coil around drive leg at leg lift occasionally to disrupt the hitters timing, quick loose arm action working from a low three-quarter release. Fastball shows life to William’s arm side, sits 77-79 mph, tops at 80 mph, around the strike zone, slider is 62-66 mph, sweeping action at times, around the strike zone. Williams projectable frame, athleticism and loose arm action make him a prospect to keep an eye on as he continues his development.

10/28/18 - Williams is a slender 5-foot-8 125-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class. Willams worked his fastball at 75-77 mph from a three quarters arm slot, gets late two-seam action, throws for a strike, breaking ball has 10-to-4 slider-type action, occasional late life, 67-69 mph, throws change up from same arm slot as fastball with near fastball arm speed, some with slight sinking action, 67-70 mph, smooth tempo in delivery, with rotation at release, finishes on first base side, easy and loose arm action, lands slightly close, hides ball well until release.

10/22/17 - Williams is a 5-foot-7 110-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class. Williams has a slender frame, throws strikes with fastball and slider, works to contact, has command of both sides of the plate, smooth and repeatable delivery, side arm slot, repeats, fastball at 68-70 mph, slight run late, slider at 57-60 mph, 10-to-4 sweeping action, throws from slightly higher arm slot.
