2/15/16 - Kraus is a 5-foot-9 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2017 class.  He ran a 4.15 home-to-first and has an exit velo of 89 mph, top LHH exit velo for the event. At the plate, smooth and simple swing mechanics, minimal load no wasted movement, level to exension, pull side line drive with some pop.  In the outfield, 83 mph positional velo, loose high three quarters release, fluid footwork, clean glove to hand transfer, throws have carry. On the mound, over the top release, loose arm action, controlled delivery, level shoulders, inline stride, athletic finish.  Fastball at 77-78 mph, one of top LHP velos for the event, some with run, 2-to-8 breaking ball, late break, change up 69-72 mph, slight sink, showed feel for three pitches, repeats delivery and release point.

2/16/15 - Kraus is a 5-foot-7 147-pound left-handed hitting outfielder/LHP.  Offensively, balanced stance, low hands, minimal stride, quick bat speed, gap-to-gap approach, 83 mph exit velo, 4.25 home-to-first. In the outfield, plays thru ball, high three-quarters release, clean exchange, small crow hop, mostly accurate throws, 77 mph positional velo. On the mound, Kraus has over-the-top release, short arm action, and throws with regular effort.  Fastball at 74-75 mph, touching 77 mph, straight.  Curveball at 58-60 mph, slight 11-to-5 shape, change-up at 66-67 mph.
