5/16/18 - Athletic senior outfielder with top five round tools, but much swing/miss to his game; four-year career average 24.4% strikeout rate and 27.5% this season. Balanced approach. Sets up with low hands and a deep load to his swing. Pulled off the ball, as his bat was quickly in/out of the hitting zone. However, he stayed on the ball better in batting practice, showing power to all fields with the best carry to left-center. Did not look good against a left-handed pitcher with an average slider, but that at-bat may have been an exception as he has slashed .338/.439/.471 vs. lefties this season. Above average defender in right field. Showed an above average arm while throwing flat-footed during game, plus arm during pregame I/O. Plus runner, ran a 4.06 to first base on a rollover to the second baseman. Regardless of his age and swing/miss history, his tools have value and he will likely be selected in the top 10 rounds, both as a bonus pool saving senior and as a legitimate ML prospect.
