8/04/19

Stocky frame with a strong lower half, standing 5-foot-11, 185 pounds.  Strike thrower, pounds the zone with a three-pitch mix.  Fluid delivery.  Clean arm.  Kick to the mid-chest with a long stride, working on-line and square at foot-strikes.  Rhythm in the front side as the arm is long to a strong power position.  High-3/4 slot, working out of his sleeve.  Fastball at 78-81.  Occasional run to the arm side when working to the arm side.  Solid change-up at 71-72.  Good deception with the window and arm speed.  Some fade when he gets extension on the pitch.  Attacks the zone with the change.  Breaking ball has gradual 11/5 tilt at 68-69.  Again, attacks the zone, and showed an ability to throw the spin to both sides of the plate.

1/27/19

Average frame with a thick lower half in a 5-foot-11, 185 pound frame.  Fluid temp and easy arm action to a high-3/4 slot.  Average leg kick, working level, on-line, and land square with the foot.  Gets extension and repeats the delivery.  Arm works with some quickness.  Fastball ranged 72-79, around the plate.  Misses were arm side, early in the bullpen.  Breaking ball flashed depth.  Typically used gradual tilt at 63-64, with similar hand speed to that of the fastball.  Change-up is around the plate at 67-70.

06.12.18
5 feet 10, 175-pound strong build. The right hander uses a simple delivery with smooth tempo working in line to the plate with a long arm swing, throwing from a high ¾ slot and athletic finish.  Average leg kick from the 1st base side. Good extension with some quickness in the hand. Works in the zone with his fastball sitting at 73-77 mph. Fastball works with angle to the down zone. Curveball has 11/5 break at 60-63 mph. Feel for the zone on the breaking ball increased throughout the bullpen.  Maintains arm speed on the change-up with fade at 69 mph. Attacks the zone with the change and can see where it can be a weapon. Overall a strike thrower with good feel for his CH.

05.23.18
Strength is present in a 5-foot-10, 175 pound frame, with a strong lower half.  Commanded the down zone, flashing late arm side run on the fastball. Fastball sat 73-77 with decent angle.  Long arm swing gets to a high-¾ slot. Stable at balance, some rhythm through the delivery, staying level and in-line.  Lands on-line and square. Change-up ranged 66-71 with late fade. A chance to be used as a weapon, the hand speed and movement will create issues.  Attacks the zone with the change. Breaking ball has depth when thrown with good hand speed. Ranging 64-69, the curveballs at 67-69 had late 11/5 depth.  At 63-64, the pitch has gradual action with a slight hump out of the hand.
