04.11.17
Thin build with room to project strength in the coming years.  Long arm actin and tall over the rubber works to a 3/4 slot with a quick, whippy arm.  Front side works high for deception, while the head posture remains tall.  Elbow tends to get a little high in the arm swing and there is some hook out of the glove with the hand.  Fastball sat 77-80 throughout the outing, jumping on hitters the first time through the lineup.  Change-up flashes out-pitch potential working 68-70 with solid hand speed and fading action to the arm side.  Commanded change to the arm side throughout the outing.  Curveball swept out of the hand and through the zone, flashing hard tilt in put-away situation, ranging 66-70.  Curveball control increased each inning of the outing.  Fastball command increased throughout the outing as well, with much better feel to the arm side.  Does have the ability to elevate the fastball in chase situations.

6-foot-2, 205 pounder is active and athletic with his feet and hands.  Fluid and clean, plays through balls, working to a long arm action and a high-3/4 slot.  Some effort in the arm swing.  Flashed accuracy.  Arm strength touched 77mph across the infield.  Right handed hitter is slightly open and uses a short stride to dive after a leg kick.  Some waggle in the setup leads to some barrel awareness issues.  Level path can get long at times.  Exit velocity touched 84mph.  Ran a 8.23 sixty. On the bump, works from a high-3/4 slot with a long arm stroke.  Tall on his back-side with some rhythm and regular effort, the fastball ranges 74-77, working up to 79.  The curveball sat 62-64 with gradual 11/5 shape, rolling through the zone.  The change-up flashed average at 65-68, although the hand speed was not consistent.  Lanky body that could see a jump if hand speed continues to improve over time.
