Cape Cod- Struggled during his brief relief appearance against Falmouth on July 24, throwing just 11 of his 25 pitches for strikes. Showing average effort in his delivery, he landed soft and on-line to the plate with a still head. Despite his balanced delivery, he scattered his 92-94 higher-spin (2350+ rpm) heater and a short, sharp 82-83 slider, allowing all four batters he faced to reach base. The 6-foot-6, 245-pound righthander's best pitch was an 84-86 changeup at 1850 rpm.
Physically mature, balanced lower half, in line, full arm swing, A bit around the zone, but competed and showed average to slightly above on all three pitches.

SL: 80-82 (2400-2600 rpm)

Thick body type with long levers, standing 6-foot-5, 215 pounds and looks to have projection left. Works from a high-3/4 slot and is slightly closed at foot strike. Longer arm swing, clean, fights for rhythm with the front side. Fastball ranged 81-84, while lacking some movement. The slider ranged 73-76 with early action.
