Delivery: Side step and turn, loading the front hip as the leg lift works back toward the back hip. Uncoils the lower half, landing on-line with an open toe at foot-strike. Builds tempo from balance through release. Slight fall to 3B with good extension
Arm Action: L. Long arm swing. Head clears the area for an over-the-top slot. Average arm speed.
FB: T83, 79-83 mph. 1859 rpm. Strike thrower. 11:00 tilt out of the hand. Ball has some ride through the zone.
CB: 68-71 mph. 1688 rpm. Has some feel and the breaking ball may have a high ceiling, showing tilt and depth with 10/4 break.
CH: 70-72 mph. 1879 rpm. Fade off the fastball line with average arm speed.
Positional Profile: LHP/OF.
Body: 6’3”, 155 pounds. Average build.
Delivery: Side step to a lift to the mid-chest, loading the front hip. Uncoils out of balance, landing on-line and square, falling to the 3B side.
Arm Action: L. Slight stab out of the glove, working with length to a high-3/4 slot. Average arm speed
FB: T78, 75 - 78 mph. 1540 - 1782 rpm. Around the zone with some downill angle.
CB: 65-66 mph. 1990 - 2051 rpm. Early out of the hand, working for 1/7 tilt, sweeping at times.
CH: 67-68 mph. 1632 rpm. Slows the hand slightly. Creates arm side run.
Thin frame with length in his limbs at 6-foot-2, 155 pounds. Slow tempo to the delivery using a low kick to balance. Level, works on-line and lands square on the front foot. Long arm swing has some effort, reaching out of the glove. Average arm speed. Over-the-top slot with good extension. Attacked the zone with the fastball at 76-79. Decent feel for the breaking ball, ranging 63-64 with early, gradual 1/7 tilt. Hand speed on the breaking ball mimics that of the fastball. Stuff should jump as he continues to add strength to the frame.
