Cape Cod: Worked in the low-90s with his fastball for Brewster, backing it with a solid slider that, as with several other Brewster arms, could be tightened into a true cutter when desired. The arm works well and the fastball/slider combo compliment each other such that there is a path to pro value as a relief arm in limited stints
The 6-foot-10 right-hander struck out 35 batters in 21.2 IP last season at Pitt. He allowed just 11 hits and a 1.66 ERA. He will sit 92-96 with his fastball, touching 97 on occasion, while mixing in a solid slider.
