Projectable frame with length at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds. Will continue to add strength to the frame. Athleticism is present. Raw at times in game situations, but tools stand out in the workout. Should continue to climb towards his ceiling in the near future. Exit velocity of 89 mph off the bat. Arm has carry at 78 mph out of the crouch. Offensively, the right handed hitter is slightly open and tall, using a short stride back to even. Simple load to the launch position. Some bat waggle but seems to work from a consistent base. Good bat speed, with strength, working for extension. Ball jumps when on the barrel. Pull tendency but shows pop to all fields. Some swing and miss in game situations and lacks the barrel awareness shown in the workout. Should continue to improve with maturity. Behind the plate, presents a big frame with good bend in his hips. Tends to sway through the pitch process causing some receiving issues at times. Average accuracy and good carry on throws ranging 2.00-2.15 in the workout. Clean exchanges across the chest with a strong arm action and high-¾ release. Good extension on throws. Ran a 7.54 sixty.
Lanky, athletic, projectable build at 6 feet 2, 195 pounds. Athleticism plays behind the plate with fluid footwork and quick, clean exchanges. Throws over the top with a short arm action and carry on his throws. Positional velocity of 75 out of the crouch. Good feet on the infield with his arm peaking at 80mph, across the diamond. Offensively, works from the right side with an open setup and high hands. Short stride working to get his lower half through the ball. Bat path gets long at times, working out of the zone quickly. Ball jumps when there is length through the zone. Average to above barrel awareness. Bat speed exists. Exit velocity recorded at 86mph. Posted times of 4.27 in the 30-yard dash, 4.70 in the 5-10-5 agility test, and 8-1 in the standing broad jump.
Young player with a physical, defined 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame. Looks to still have maturation left ahead of him. Athletic stance from the right side, working from a tall base. Short stride and aggressive back side allow for advanced bat speed and some feel for the barrel. Power potential is evident with rhythm present in the swing. Exit velocity peaked at 86 off the barrel. Behind the plate, there is arm strength with a positional velocity of 75 mph out of the crouch, presenting good carry and some feel for accuracy. Pop times will improve as the transition becomes quicker, ranging 2.22-2.26 in the January workout. Easy target to throw to, with loose hips, a wide base, and good hand speed. Presents strikes well. On the infield, the hands work as the feet and rhythm remain cautious through the catch and exchange. Long arm action, loading the body, gets to a high-3/4 slot producing carry at 84 mph across the diamond. Some quickness in the body with a 3.02 twenty-yard dash and a 4.69 5-10-5 agility test. Standing broad jump marked at 8’2”.
