Athletic build at 5 foot 10, 170-pounds.  Quick twitch athlete with speed and strength present. Potential two-way prospect for colleges as he started pitching this winter, building toward this spring.  Put together solid rounds of batting practice working mostly middle to his pull side.  Looks to have calmed his swing down a bit over the winter, going with less movement during his load.  Balanced setup from the left side.  Small weight shift back during the load, with his hands cocking, creating angle in the barrel.  Loose hands, with barrel whip through the zone.  Balanced swing, working to keep his barrel in the zone.  Better than average bat speed. Exit velocity recorded at 93 mph.  Recorded at 3.81 in the 30-ard dash.  Athletic with a simple delivery on the mound.  Starts form the windup with a step to the side, going into his leg lift, with the knee working just above the belt.  Smooth tempo, working in line to the plate.  Long, loose, clean arm action, throwing from an over the top slot.  Fastball has down angle, getting arm side run at times.  Fastball sat 85-86 mph, topping at 87 mph.  Showed feel for his changeup with fade at 79-80 mph.  Spins his breaking ball at 74-77 mph.  Breaking should only get better with more time on the mound.  Should have more to come on the mound, already having feel for the zone with his effortless delivery.

5 foot 10, 170-pound athletic build.  Offensively he works from the left side with an athletic setup.  Fluid load with his hands working back with no stride.  Good balance throughout his swing with a controlled approach.  Loose hands with barrel whip through the zone.  Gets his barrel in the zone with it working slightly uphill after contact.  Feel for the barrel, driving the ball mostly middle to his pull side.  Above average bat speed with his exit velocity peaking at 90-mph.  Athletically plays through balls in the outfield with fluid feet and average hands.  Long, loose arm action, throwing from a high ¾ slot.  Arm has carry topping at 84 mph.  Recorded a 3.88 in the 30-yard dash, 4.52 in the 5-10-5, and 9-1 in the standing broad jump.  
New to the mound, the athleticism and hand speed translates.  Slow tempo builds through the delivery.  Slight side step to an average leg kick.  On-line and level, lands square.  Back side fights to get through on time.  Medium arm swing to an over-the-top slot with a fast arm.  Fastball at 84-85, touching 86.   Erratic at times, the fastball played hard out of the hand.  Breaking ball with 1/7 tilt at 72-74.  Early action to the spin, hard at times with some feel for the zone.  Change-up has some sink from a slower arm speed sitting 73-75.

5 feet 10, 170-pound athletic build. Speed and strength are evident.  Toolsy player that is raw at times but with high upside. Ran a 7.09 sixty on the laser timer on a very hot day that saw most times down a little.  Offensively, hits from the left side using an athletic, balanced setup. Small leg kick in his load, barrel working to vertical, getting his foot down early and lower half through the ball. Loose hands with above average bat speed. Looks to drive the ball in the gaps getting good extension out front. Fluid swing with ball off the bat topping at 87 mph. Barrel awareness tends to match head discipline - as the head stays quiet he finds the barrel.  Athletically plays through balls in the outfield with soft hands, quick, fluid feet, and clean, quick exchanges. Aggressive to the ball. Trust in is hands. Easy exchanges. Long arm action, throwing from an over the top slot. Occasionally falls to the glove side on his follow through. Accurate arm with advanced carry to his throws topping at 84 mph.
