Slender 5-foot-11, 155 pounder with a lot of maturing left in the frame.  Defense is ahead of offense.  Catches the ball at short with some ease, flashing athleticism with quick, clean exchanges.  Tends to work to set himself to play through balls, allowing the feet to help load the arm.  Showed an ability to manipulate the arm action and arm slot based on the throw and his bodies positioning.  High level of accuracy on athletic throws.  Accuracy faded some on routine throws as he worked to show off some arm strength.  Ball has carry, with some effort, working 87 mph across the diamond.  Right handed hitter sets up balanced and athletic.  Flat bat head at launch, stays flat through the zone.  Average bat speed and works to stay gap-to-gap.  Exit velocity peaked at 82.

07.23.16: Good hands and feet at shortstop with an arm that should provide enough carry as he adds strength to stay on the left side.  A thin, lanky frame that needs to add strength, has athleticism, and some quickness in small spaces.  Ran a 4.87 on an infield putout.  The swing is simple and he finds the barrel but lacks strength to drive the baseball right now.  On the bump, Fox works from a submarine slot topping at 73 with a feel for the strike zone.  He will occasionally raise to an over-the-top slot, with a hop off the rubber, that will touch 82.
