6-foot, 175 pound catcher ran a 7.7 60 yard sprint. Top catching prospect in the Nebraska 2020 class at this time. Some stiffness at the plate, spray hitter with line drive contact on the linear barrel plane. Posted an 75 mph exit velocity off a tee. Went 1-3 with a walk during his plate appearances. Show athleticism behind the plate, low base, above average receiver, threw to 2nd in the 2.01-2.09 range. Hit .406 with 28 hits and 10 RBIs this past spring while starting for the Class A State Tournament runner up.
5/21/17- 5-foot-9, 160 pound catcher ran a 7.59 60 yard sprint. Talle open stance at the plate, line drive contact, all field approach. Posted an exit velocity of 70 mph off a tee. Advanced defensively for the 2020 class. Athletic, above average receiver and blocker. Threw to 2nd in the 2.06-2.19 range. Strong follow as he develops physically in the 2020 class.
