8/13/17- 6-foot-3, 170 pound two way player ran a 7.27 60 yard sprint. Ranked #52 in the Nebraska 2018 rankings. Tall lanky frame. At the plate, square stance, short stride triggers slight arm bar into line drive swing plane. line drive contact to pull side during round of BP. Posted an exit velocity of 88 mph off a tee. Playable actions for first base. On the mound, topped out at 81 mph with his fastball. Arm is long and loose, ball gets on a downhill plane from a mid ¾ arm slot. Simple repeatable mechanics. 70-71 mph breaking ball has 10/6 shape with good spin. Hard change up with slightly downward action in the zone.

8/6/17- 6-foot-3, 165-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. #45 ranked player in NE 2018 class. On mound; controlled tempo, pie arm slot, high ¾ release, longer stride down mound with extension to plate. Fastball was 78-81 mph with running action to plate. Solid shape and spin on curveball with 11/5 break. 4.99 home-to-first time. Tall stance, some length to contact, avg. pop, uses whole field, line drive contact, 81 mph exit velocity. Sure hands, avg. range, comfortable around bag, solid receiver at first base, 76 mph arm strength.
5/21/17- 6-foot-3, 170 pound two way player ran a 7.22 60 yard sprint. Tall lanky frame. At the plate, square stance, short stride triggers slight arm bar into line drive swing plane. line drive contact to pull side during round of BP. Posted an exit velocity of 81 mph off a tee. Playable actions for first base. On the mound, topped out at 82 mph with his fastball. Arm is long and loose, ball gets on a downhill plane from a mid ¾ arm slot. Simple repeatable mechanics. 70-71 mph breaking ball has 10/6 shape with good spin. Hard change up with slightly downward action in the zone.


6-foot-2, 155-pound long levered RHP and first baseman ran a 7.53 60 yard sprint. At the plate, slight toe tap trigger with aggressive slightly uphill swing plane. Hands stay inside the baseball and hits line drives to all parts of the field. Some stiffness in the field but hands and feet work for 1st base. 79 mph velocity across the infield. Simple repeatable mechanics on the mound. Hands break cleanly on the back side and has a tendency to flatten out on his backside leg not leveraging his height. Throws from a mid ¾ arm slot with heavy 73-75 mph change up. Breaking ball showed good depth when released out front.
