6-foot-2, 190-pound, strong, solid, thick, athletic frame, with strength throughout. A legit two-way player, time will tell which way he will go, will be able to perform both duties at the college level. At the plate, hits from the right-side, open to even stance, hands are quiet, lower half is under control. The swing is level to up, maneuvers the barrel to the baseball, hands inside, driving it to gap to gap, showing enough pop to beat the outfielders.  Showed arm strength across the diamond at 87 mph, hands are soft out front on the catch. Moved well to glove side, profiles more at 3rd base long term. Off the mound, pounded the zone with a four pitch mix, fastball touching 91 mph, a heavy ball with bore action. Throws a hard slider, 76-80 mph, down late biting action. Showed feel both the changeup and splitter, has the ability to get you out a few different ways. The delivery is sound, repeats it, working down hill.

6/14- Scout Notes
Hujsak, a 6'2' 180 lb sophomore and Rutgers commit, was the starting pitcher for Goffstown in this state championship game. Pitching out of a high 3/4 arm slot the RHP showed a heavy FB that sat 84-87 and touched 88 on several occasions. He also utilized a sharp slider at 73-76 mph, and a good CH at 75-77 mph. After his outing on the mound Hujsak transitioned to SS, where he was solid defensively, using good footwork and hands up the middle. Offensively Hujsak starts with a wide base and uses a simple pick and put down movement with the front foot. Athletic actions all around, hands are quick and easy. He was 2-3 w/ 2 RBI on the day. 

Athletic actions as a defender at shortstop, the arm has strength and the glove is soft. Uses the correct approach to the ball as the feet work. Has the ability to handle the pivot. The bat has plus life to it, as he has gap to gap power. The hands work at the plate as the actions are loose and free. Also pitches, touching upper 80's with a breaking ball . Would be a reliever at the next level.
