Bozek is a 6-foot, 170 pound right-handed hitting middle infield prospect. He hits out of a wide, slightly open stance with the hands set high. He uses a knee to knee load to get the weight over the back leg. The swing is quick and flat through the hitting zone producing a lot of hard line drives during the batting practice. He also showed the ability to spray the ball foul pole to foul pole and maxed out with a 84.2 MPH exit velocity. He also showed some foot-speed with a 6.9 sixty.

Defensively, Bozek was 82 MPH on his throws across the infield. He moves well and shows soft hands as he works through the ground ball. He uses a longer arm swing on his throws and finishes through the play well.

I like Bozek’s skill set. He showed the ability to play all over the infield, he runs and the bat produced a lot of hard contact.

6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. He ran a 7.1 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield needs to remain active with the feet and the glove is solid. The arm works free, would like to see him be a bit more aggressive with the arm. He threw 78 mph across the diamond. The bat has an exit velocity of 84 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half as the swing is produced. The path is slightly uphill through contact. The hands work free and clean to contact.

Bozek has a projectable 5-foot-11, 165 pound frame.  The right-handed hitting infielder had an exit velocity of 78 mph off the tee.  He hits out of a slightly open stance with the hands in a good position. The load is triggered with a leg kick, that gets his weight to the back leg.  The swing is flat to and through contact and he shows quick hands. His extension continues on plane and he remains balanced.

Defensively, he was 75 mph across the diamond.  The feet are athletic and he moves well laterally.  He breaks down into a balanced fielding position with the glove out front.  As he transitions through the ground ball, the soft hands really show and he creates a good line with the target.  The arm-swing is quick and his finish stays in line with good balance.

The 5-foot-10, 150 pound infielder had a tee exit velocity of 70 mph.  The stance begins open and gets into a good hitting position.  The front foot closes down as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The bat is quick through the zone and creates lift.  He showed well during the BP.Defensively, the feet are light and he moves well laterally. The hands get into a good position and show well.  The arm is clean and was 76 mph across the diamond. This is a good looking young guy.  He’s definetly a guy to keep an eye on.

5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Displayed a solid approach to the ball in the infield, the feet remain active as he works through the ball. Threw 72 mph across the diamond at the event. The movements are athletic and appropriate. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 74 mph. The setup is open to start and the hands are set high. The front leg is lifted as the ball approaches, modified leg kick. The swing is flat to the ball and the hands work quickly to the ball.  Solid showing at the workout.
