Athletic and strong build at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.52 seconds and recorded a top exit velocity of 91 MPH. Wide, athletic stance with his knees bent. Brings his hands directly backwards with a bat wrap. Big, sudden leg kick. Smooth weight transfer. Strong base, clears his hips. Natural lift on his swing, high finish. Recorded a defensive velo of 82 MPH. Aggressive yet maintains control when approaching balls in the OF. Uses a hop step to build momentum. On the mound, Marano begins in a modified stretch in the middle of the rubber. High tempo delivery. Aggressive down the mound after his balance point. Strong over his frontside. Upper half rotational torque. Uphill shoulder tilt. FB has late life in the zone at 86-87 MPH, touching 88 MPH. CB has bigger 11/6 shape at 71-72 MPH. SL is tight with late horizontal bite, sitting 74-78 MPH. CH maintains arm speed and had some late run at 74-82 MPH.

Marano possesses a athletic and wiry frame at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.44 seconds and recorded a top exit velo of 91 MPH. Starts at the plate in a wide and athletic stance. Hands begin high, near his head, with his back elbow parallel to the ground. High leg kick. Present rhythm throughout. Slight bat wrap. Stays on time, finds his barrel out in front. Swings with controlled aggression. Hard contact throughout his round. In the outfield recorded a velo of 86 MPH. Aggressive approach through the ball, stays low and athletic. Uses a glove tap before making strong and on target throws. On the mound, Marano threw exclusively from the stretch, with his feet closed and back leg preset. Hands start high and move in sync with his lower half. Stride direction in line with even shoulder tilt. Strong front leg brace. Explosive lower half. Long and smooth arm action. Releases from a high 3/4 arm slot. FB exploded out of his hand and sat at 86-88 MPH. CH had a large range in velo, 74-82 MPH, but advanced ability to throw it for strikes. Was able to manipulate a SL at 74-79 MPH between a called strike pitch and a clear swing and miss out of the zone pitch with late horizontal tilt.
