Long, lean, athletic frame at 6-foot-3 160-pounds with room to add bulk. Pitches from low 3/4 arm slot. Throws sinking 2 SMFB from 78-80 mph and can get in on RH hitter with 4SMFB fastball. Effortless delivery with clean, repeated mechanics. Showcases top to bottom curveball at 64 to 66 mph and can throw to both sides of the plate. SL is commanded well with diagonal movement and can throw to both sides of the plate ranging 67-68 mph. Changeup shows arm speed and depth at the plate at 72-74 mph. Projectable body and quick arm. All pitches have sinking movement and commands down in the zone.
Lanky build from the left side of the plate. Connington is 6-foot-3, 155- pounds. Showcased as both a 1st basemen and a pitcher. During the 60 yards dash he ran a 7.81 while having an infield position velocity of 68 MPH. Fielding was choppy but was able to get to most balls. Off the mound Connington pitched from a true ¾ arm slot. Had a long arm action. Had a straight fastball that was consistently 73-74 MPH topping out at 74 MPH. Curveball was clocked at 58-62 MPH with a Slurvy break to it. Was able to control change up down in zone at 65-70 MPH. Slider was 62-64 MPH with gradual break. Showed consistent arm speed through out pitches.

Connington has a lanky build at 6-foot-3 150-pounds. Fastball topped at 74, sat mostly 72-74. Curveball had slurvy action at 58-60. Showcased a changeup at 63-65 with near fastball arm action and a slider at 62-64 as well. Low-3/4 slot, long arm action. Projectable frame, has room for added strength. Tall, athletic balance point. Creates some extension over front lead leg. Controlled, athletic landing. Level shoulders as he goes down the mound.
