Hands start high, elbow back, bat angle up. Smooth weight transfer, has a toe tap in his stride. Creates pre pitch rhythm. Hands move directly down. Impressive round, with barrels to all fields and some pullside power potential. Had a top throwing velocity of 73 MPH in the IF. Smooth actions around the ball, stays athletic through his throws. Prototypical IF arm action.
Physical- Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 170lbs frame. 7.83 runner in the 60.
Offensively- Relaxed, athletic stance with a slightly wider setup with feet just wider than shoulder width apart. Some pre-pitch hand movement working back into his load, uses a toe tap and small stride for timing. Fast hands lead to above average bat speed, giving him the ability to drop the barrel into the hitting zone quickly. Makes hard contact out in front hitting the ball hard in the air. Max exit velo of 92 MPH.
Defensively- Starts low showing his hands early before using a prep hop for timing. Fluid lateral movements showing some range to his glove side. Plays well on the move showing off smooth, soft hands with clean transfers, leading to a quick arm stroke and ¾ arm slot to get rid of the ball. 78 MPH arm across the diamond.
