Caldwell University recruit. Fopeano has a strong and athletic build at 6-foot, 190-pounds. Starts on the rubber with both of his feet facing the plate. Short, compact arm action. High 3/4 arm slot. Creates rhythm with his hand glove movements. Strong brace leg. Stride direction in line. Fastball topped at 84 MPH and sat 80-82 MPH. Slider was 70-72 MPH, had short, tight spin with late downer action. Changeup displayed fade in the zone at 68-69 MPH.

Fopeano stands at 6-foot and weighs 190-pounds. Has an athletic and strong frame. Begins on the middle of the mound, even with the plate. Hands begin at chest height and stay there throughout the delivery. Long, loose, clean arm action. High 3/4 arm slot. Maintains rhythm and tempo. Normal leg kick. Creates an angle between his upper and lower body. Rides his lower half down the mound. Strong front side, creates leverage over it. From the stretch, begins slightly closed and uses a normal leg kick. Fastball topped at 84 MPH, one of the tops at the event, and sat 82-83 MPH. FB was consistently located in the bottom half of the zone. Curveball showed big 11/5 shape at 67-70 MPH. Was also at the bottom of the zone and showed late tilt, swing and miss potential. Changeup displayed considerable run at 67-69 MPH.
