Zuppe is a 6-foot-2, 170 pound right-handed pitcher from Freehold Boro HS. He has smooth, directional mechanics with good lower half incorporation. At this particularly event, Zuppe had the most impressive three-pitch mix from a ¾ to high ¾ arm slot. He has a whip-like, quick arm action which generated an 80-83 mile-per-hour fastball with arm side life and a tight slider that ranged between 72-75 MPH. He threw two sliders at the event that were definite above average college sliders. He also incorporated a solid changeup that could potentially give him three very solid college pitches. I could see Zuppe being 84-86 during his senior season.
