Trendafilov has a compact and athletic build at 5-foot-9, 185-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.86 seconds with an exit velocity of 96 MPH. At the dish, wide and slightly open stance with bend in the knees. Bat goes upright while back elbow moves to parallel in the load. Quick load. Strong hands, generated some easy juice. In the infield, stay low and athletic in his actions, funnels the ball into his midsection. Top positional velocity of 78 MPH.
Strong and compact build at 5-foot-9, 180-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.01 seconds along with an exit velo of 92 MPH. Starts at the plate in a wide and balanced stance. Small stride. Hands start high and move slightly down and back while bringing up his bat angle. Quick hands through the zone, consistent barrels. Defensively, took reps in the infield and had a top velo of 75 MPH. Waits on the ball, fields deep. Transfer by his midsection. Changes his arm slot based on where he is.
Physical- Strong, athletic, 5-foot-9, 180lbs frame. 7.29 runner in the 60.
Offensively- Starts in an athletic position with an even base and some bend in the knees. Hands start above the shoulders with his bat tilted down before working down and back on load. Uses a small leg lift/stride for timing. Hands are on plane early, quick bat to and through the zone. Some natural lift in the swing with an uphill finish, good extension through contact with a two-handed finish. Max exit velo of 98 MPH.
Defensively- Starts down, bent at the waist with some bend in the knees as well. Uses short, choppy steps to get around the ball, stays low throughout his approach. Plays well on the move. Shows soft hands that field the ball out in front and in the middle of his body before funneling to the stomach. Moderate arm swing with a ¾ arm slot, 79 MPH arm strength from the IF.
