5-foot-11, 145lb lean frame; 7.23 runner in the 60 yard dash. At the plate, Schneider starts with a wide base with big bend in the knees. Uses a moderate leg kick and a big barrel whip to keep the upper half on time. Slams the front foot down and launches into his swing and swings off a firm front leg. Slightly uphill swing that induces hard hit fly balls and line drives to the pull side with the ability to take the ball to the opposite field. Registered an 80 MPH max exit velo. In the infield, Schneider moves extremely well to the ball with a natural knack to sniff it out. Fields on his off side foot and moves directly into the throw to his target. Fields out in front and funnels to his belt and works a quick exchange to throw from a loose 3/4 slot. Posted a 78 MPH infield arm strength.
5-foot-10, 130-pound lean frame. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.20. In the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 75 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a big load, then used a short stride before his swing. Had a flat swing plane and level finish. In the infield, made throws across the field up to 75 mph; has quick footwork and raw hands. Showed a quick arm action with an-over-the-top slot.
Schneider has a 5-foot-10, 130-pound slim frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 74 mph. Began in a balanced stance with a small load, then used a small leg kick to initiate his swing. Displayed a flat swing plane. In the infield, showed an ability to throw across the field at 69 mph; had a clean exchange and sure hands. Had an-over-the-top slot and a quick loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.65. Will be interesting to see Schneider's development through his high school career.
