West has a lanky build at 5-foot-10 160-pounds. Offensively- recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. starts with a wide set up with feet slightly opened and hands even with his back shoulder. No hand load or weight shift. Starts swing with a foot stride. Drifts toward baseball, taking power away from back side of stance. Some fluidity in hips with a balanced finish. Defensively- showed well in the outfield. Charges ground balls, fields on the outside of foot and plays through throws. Throws topped at 75 mph from an over-the-top slot. Stiff arm action.
