2017  New Jersey State Games (July 26-27, 2017)
Bianchi has a long, wiry-athletic build at 6-foot-2 160-pounds. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.12-seconds, exit velocity topped at 82 MPH. Offensively – starts in a wide neutral stance with a slight knee bend and hands above back shoulder. Uses a small foot stride with an occasional foot tap to start swing, hands load up and back fluidly. Creates gap to gap power with extension in arms to the baseball through the zone. Whippy, loose hands and hips through the zone – finishes with some lift to swing. Defensively – took reps at SS – throws across the infield topped at 88 MPH, which was the top infield velocity of the event. Rangey, athletic infield with smooth glovework and quick, easy exchange. Short, quick arm action – ball explodes out of hand with backspin and carry. Pitching – Fastball topped at 85 MPH and sat mostly 83-85 in his two innings of work. Showcased a big 11/5 breaking ball with tight spin and depth for strikes at 67-70. Long, loose and clean arm from a true-3/4 slot. Falls off toward the first base side on finish with a recoil. One of the top prospects from the entire event.


Preseason All-State Showcase (February 11th, 2017)
Bianchi has a lean, athletic build at 6-foot-1 160-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.40 seconds, exit velocity topped at 80 mph. Offensively- starts in a balanced position with hands above back shoulder. Starts his load with a leg kick and stride. Hands load down and back, wrapping the bat around his head. Bat speed is present. Finishes on back leg with lift in his swing. Hips and arms work fluidly through the zone. Defensively- throws topped at 85 mph across the infield, good for second at the whole event. Plays from the ground up with glove.  Fields ball out in front of body and carries momentum toward first base. No wasted movements. High-3/4 arm slot with some armside run. Able to throw from multiple different arm slots. Good looking athlete with a solid foundation, needs to keep improving on overall speed. Pitching- Fastball topped at 83 mph. Sat mostly 81-82. Cruveball clocked in at 59-62 with small 11/5 depth. Pushes breaking ball out slightly on release. Also showed a straight changeup at 71 mph. Shows some arm quickness on fastball, pauses slightly with arm swing on breaking ball. Tall set up to start that leads into a tall balance point. Falls into back knee as he goes down the mound. Creates uphill shoulder leverage. High-3/4 arm slot with some run. Lands balanced over lead leg in line with homeplate. Shows body control in movements.
