Hatcher showed well on the mound this morning for the 16U Canes Canada squad. Standing 6-foot, 153-pounds there’s still plenty of time and room to add strength. Hatcher worked with a short, quick arm action that was up to 78 and flashed a 2-plane breaking-ball. Hatcher’s game is continuing to trend upwards after a strong showing at PSA Scout Day.
Hatcher was another who stood out projectable left-handed hitter to show well on both sides of the ball. 6-foot, 148-pounds and has explosives movements down the mound with a fastball that sat 76-78 T79. The ball jumped out of his hand and he sat at the knees, along with a good breaking ball that had bite and slurve action at 65-66mph. Also flashed a CH at 72-74mph. LHH with a consistent round and lots of hard contact with the ability to lift the ball. An underclassman in Newfoundland to keep tabs on.
