Coming into the PBR Nevada ProCase as the #1 ranked prospect, Garrett Cutting, comes fresh off of his trip to Emerson, Georgia to partake in the Area Code Games. The 5-foot-11, 180 pound, Oregon commit added some physicality to his frame over the summer that helped him produce mature rounds of batting practice that showcased his ability to drive the ball to the big part of the yard. He oozes confidence at the plate with his quite set up, hands starting head high. His Blast Motion number validated his swing quality with a Bat Speed of 74.9 mph, well in to the MLB Average range and an On Plane Efficiency of 69%. Defensively, his range appeared limited as he was coming off some tightness in his hamstring, but the footwork has improved allowing him to flow through the fielding process with his arm strength has remained consistent at 87 mph with carry. The Oregon Ducks  are getting a prospect that should have a chance to step in right away with a high level bat with clean infield action at a premium position.
