11/14/18-Compact frame, 5-foot-8, 165, Corns is stocky with present strength.  He has solid infield actions and feel for his skill set.  He has an accurate arm from multiple slots, depending on what the situation dictates. He uses an added shuffle presently to give his ball carry from the longer left side throws and will quicken his exchange when necessary.  He employs an open stance striding closed and looks to pull.  His swing has a manageable length, as he comes close to barring out. Corns hits against a stiff front side with some tendency to leave his legs early, thus relying on upper body strength.  He has good barrel awareness, showing a consistent ability to square up contact. As a pitcher, he runs away from his arm, but manages a solid feel for the strike zone with a 3 pitch mix.  His fastball was up to 73, breaking ball 59, and changeup 61.  Delivery improvements will undoubtedly impact velocity as well as pitch definition.  This youthful right-hander has a lot of room for growth on the mound.
