PBR CA STATE GAMES - Very long and wiry frame with young build; plenty of space to keep adding strength and girth while showing athletic ability and control of his young frame. Has made tremendous improvements in short time this summer from very raw to more polished and starting to take the tools to the next level. Aggressive approach at the plate showing a desire to drive the ball and looking to attack pitches early in the count. Hands stay wide at back shoulder with wider base showing the ability to transfer weight through the swing in rhythm. Bat works upwards through the zone with quick hands and the ability to drive the backside through contact. Was right on a lot of pitches without any hits to show for it. Defense is also solid with excellent first step reactions producing big range; made a great play tracking a pop up into deep CF and covered the 6-hole with ease. Arm will be a future shortstop arm with loose actions and the ability to make all the throws. A 2022 to follow.

BAY AREA OPEN - Projectable frame with high, tight waist showing length in the build and square shoulders; athletic frame that will continue to add strength to improve measurables (7.75 60 yd). From a tall, wide, even hand stance uses an aggressive foot lift to push the weight forward gaining ground while his hands have a slight movement backwards; can continue to focus on staying in the backside a bit longer for better balance through contact. Longer arms stay in sync as barrel works on a slightly upwards path showing full body turns with two-hand high finish (81 EV); lower half usage in spurts. Defensively showed fair reactions using high hips with improving footwork; longer release from compact arm action showing strength in the arm with throws having some tail going across the diamond (80 MPH). Raw skills that can be shaped as he continues to mature and strengthen.
