Kaden has above average catching skills for his age. He has a good set up and wide base allowing freedom to receive well. Showed quiet hands letting the ball travel to him with a good framed presentation. Kaden looks to have good arm strength with a quick release and good feet. Separating out front created a consistent pop time of 2.08-2.15. Blocking ability showed good loose hips that allowed good mobility side to side. Offensively, Kaden has a nice compact swing with natural lift. Narrow base into open to close stride, Kaden has bat speed and strength in his bat. Good line drive, alley to alley approach.

He displays developing arm strength and currently emphasizes quick feet and exchange over arm strength. He possesses good block and recovery skills. His firm receiving are ahead of his hand strength which shows his feel for the position. In the box, Schuck maintains a centered stance with knees knocked in. He strides from open to close with a good balance of hand and lower half load, achieving good separation. He keeps his weight between his feet and stays behind the ball well at impact. His swing plane is solid. All the above lead to consistent quality contact.
