11/14/18-Long-levered, 6-foot-1, 165, Slaman has present physicality. A solid athlete with some feel for multiple positions, his length likely lends to corner outfield. In the outfield, he displays confident and capable actions with a long loose arm that provides carry. In the infield, his actions are serviceable but would lend better to a corner infield position for his ability to sink his hips upon fielding ground balls may hinder plays made between his feet. At the plate, he displays a manageable length with projectable power in his naturally lofted swing. He maintains balance throughout his swing and created consistent quality contact. Keep in mind, he worked out throwing from the outfield as well as the infield prior to pitching. He has a loose ¾ arm action which brings natural life to a developing fastball up to 77. He has the makings of a future slider, 67 and feel for his changeup 69. He possesses delivery and arm action deception for the ball jumps out of his hand. Slaman maybe a long projection type pitcher but will get outs straight away due to deception.
