May 2016
The 6-foot-2, 213-pound LHP and MLB rising prospect had yet another dominating shutout performance to drop his .20 ERA even lower. Dallas sat 89-92 MPH with an ever improving breaking ball that he’s been throwing harder over the past few weeks giving a little more tight/late break at 75-76 mph. The changeup is also being utilized more and consistently at 78 mph. He finished the day with 12 K’s and only 1 BB.
May 2016
The Monmouth commit and MLB draft watch lefty shined with what was probably his best outing of the season showing consistent gains throughout the spring thus far. With numerous area scouts and cross checkers in attendance Dallas lit up the gun hitting mostly 89-91’s and a few 92’s in the first two innings. What was more impressive was that he was able to hold his velocity throughout 90 pitches.  In his final inning he still registered 4 at 90-mph and 1 at 91-mph before coming out of the game with the win in hand. He finished the game with 10 K’s and 1BB. The curveball was sharp and sat around 72-75.
May 2016
The senior 6-foot-2, 210-pound Monmouth commit and MLB Draft watch pitcher threw a brief outing against Timon this week Thursday. He went 4 innings, 47 pitches 8 K’s and no walks.  The LHP remains dominant with his fastball between 87-90, touching 91 MPH throughout and showing improvement each outing on location and off speed.  The breaking ball was as sharp as we’ve ever seen and with a few added mph’s. He broke off multiple curveballs at 75-mph along with a 76-mph changeup with good late sink/fade action.
Border Battle (October 18, 2015)
The career arc of Dallas is yet to be determined, but the Buffalo hurler more than likely added time to that path. Never mind the 39 degree reading on the thermometer or the flurries dancing on the diamond at Marist College. Pitching- Dallas threw upper 80s all day and touched 90 MPH. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound lefty attacked hitters with an advanced three pitch mix. He was an above average northern NY arm over the summer, Sunday he found another gear. The next few months could be exciting for this Monmouth commit as he enters the draft process. Offensively- Dan possesses an exit velocity of 89 MPH and showed gap-to gap power crushing doubles to both right center and left center. Creates good separation with load/stride. Stays behind the ball well and accelerates through contact. Defensively- Adequate defender at 1B for the prep level. Active feet, beats the ball to the spot and was accurate with throws.

New York Games (July 7-9, 2015)
Stands a firm 6-foot-1, 215-pounds with great size and strength from the mound. Pitching- He works with a fast-paced delivery but repeatable, arm action is back and clean – some effort, shoulder tilt to the third-base side, throws from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball jumps at 83-85 MPH with signs of some more in the tank. Fastball has arm-side run and some depth. Curveball shows above average spin, 2/7 shape, 70-74 mph. Dallas has a live arm and the potential to be a big-time northern arm come next year.
