Maynard stands 5-foot-9 and is built like a running back. The Maryland commit has power from both behind the plate and at it. At the plate he has a compact, powerful swing with lots of carry to both gaps. Behind the dish he has plus instincts defensively and a sub 2 pop time with a quick clean release. Very good prospect to follow this spring.
