East-West Battle (July 2017)
Athletic build with smooth actions; arm is true. Plays hard, solid glove with adequate release. Simple setup at the plate with contact approach.
NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Athletic 5-foot-11, 155-pound infielder, ran a 6.94/60. Offensively - Keeps hands inside ball and bat on level path through the strike zone, gets full extension after contact with an exit velocity of 81 MPH; repeatable motion, drives the ball to all fields, evident lower body engagement, further counter rotation between upper and lower half will produce more power. Defensively - Soft hands, confident body language, agile footwork, smooth and easy transfer, accurate arm at 81 MPH.
Preseason All-State (February 20, 2017)

Standing 5-foot-11, 155-pounds Stirpe has next-level athleticism that projects him to the next-level, evidenced by his 6.85 60-yard dash time. Offensively- At the plate he uses a slightly open stance, strides back to closed for timing on the pitch, back smooth load, short path to the ball with a slightly inclined barrel, smooth and fluid with a long high finish, signs of gap-gap power evidenced by his 88 mph exit velocity from a short path. Defensively-  Active lower half, clean workable glove, above average arm-strength at 83 mph from a 3/4 slot with accuracy.
NY All-Star Games (September 17, 2016)

Stirpe stands in at 5-foot-10, 155-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Ran a 7.14 – 60, a slight improvement from June 2016 posting a 7.28. Offensively- Sets up with his feet outside his shoulders in a slightly open stance. Knees are bent with an upright torso and his hands held shoulder level with pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch his trigger is a stride forward squaring up to the pitcher with his hands moving back into a good hitting position. Bat path is quick to the zone with a level swing throughout to a high two handed finish. Lower body rotation is good allowing his whole body to get into swing. Good approach with a fluid swing. Recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Defensively- Good approach and footwork getting to baseball. Fielding mechanics are fluid with a good funnel into his body and transfer to his throwing hand. Attacks the ball and has a good transition towards his throwing target. Fields on the move well. Displayed a positional velocity of 79 mph.
New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)
