NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)

Solidly-built 5-foot-11, 165--pound left-hander, ran a 7.44/60. Pitching - quick arm action with arm-side run on 78-79 MPH fastball that touches 80 MPH, uses hip tilt to gather self at balance point, throws 10-to-4 curveball for strikes at 71-73 MPH and mixes in change-up at 71-72 MPH, effectively changes eye level, consistently induces weak contact. Offensively - out of a nearly upright stance, keeps bat on level path through the strike zone, full extension with an exit velocity of 84 MPH, repeatable motion, uses inner knee rotation to involve hips, further lower body engagement will add to power. Defensively - clean footwork, sound fundamentals, smooth transfer, accurate arm at 75 MPH.

Fields ball outside his body while bending at waist. Uses a large crow hop to generate momentum to target. Had a positional throwing velocity of 77 MPH from the outfield. Pitching- Begins with feet at shoulder width on third base side of rubber. Body is upright with hands in front of chest. Has a small step to the side that allows left foot to pivot onto rubber. Has a quick knee lift that comes to chest height at balance. Stride leg swings toward home plate and lands directly in line with home plate. Has a loose, full arm circle on back side. Arm comes through at a low ¾ slot. Fastball velocity was clocked at 75-77 MPH. Also threw a curveball at 66-67 MPH and changeup that was 70-71 MPH.
