Proportional frame with square upper body. Wiry, developing build at 5-foot-10, 135-pounds. Offensively – Sets up with feet open to the pitcher in a balanced, athletic stance. Maintains upright posture as he gets into leg lift and forward stride. Shows constant, loose rhythm with hands. Keeps barrel on flat swing path while staying inside of the ball. High finish after contact that should lead to more power with additional strength. Overall, low effort and projectable hitting actions with a feel for the barrel. Defensively – Smooth, easy strides in the OF. Maintained body control throughout. Works thru the ball with steady tempo as he gets into throwing motion. Uses a side shuffle to line up with target and get momentum behind throws. Long, loose arm action from high ¾ slot. Pitching – Smooth, repeatable delivery with easy throwing actions. Stays tall on backside at leg lift with weight coiled into back hip. Slight bend in back leg as he gets into forward stride. Lands with clean direction towards target. Loose arm action with full arm swing after hand break. High ¾ release. Shows considerable extension over front leg at release. Glove side stays tight throughout. Quality feel for 3-pitch mix.
