New York Games (July 7-9, 2015)
Has a great pitchers body standing 6-foot-4, 185-pounds. He uses a balanced smooth delivery, very loose clean arm showing signs of velocity. Throws from a mid-3/4 slot, fastball sat 78-79 mph on one plane. Curveball sat 67 with loose early spin, needs to finish more out in front with hand speed. Projectable arm that needs a follow.
Preseason All-State (February 15, 2015)
Howe stands an impressive 6-foot-4, 185 pounds from the mound, oozes pitcher projection. He uses a relaxed setup, hands start high. Smooth clean delivery, belt high knee lift, separates a touch late. Arm action is back, long, works easy. Throws from a high-3/4 slot, fastball sat 79 mph with arm-side run and sink. Changeup was 65 mph with good hand speed. Look forward to watching him this spring.

OF/Hitting - Howe stands an impressive 6-foot-4, 185 pounds with a lean, projectable body. At the plate he starts with his weight shifted back. On the pitch he loads back, short stride, hands power inside the ball, barrel drops slightly, plane is some what uphill through contact, nice extension, high finish. From the OF he stays behind the ball, fields in front, clean transfer, long arm action, throws from a high-3/4 slot, arm strength at 78 mph. He ran a 7 flat 60 yard dash.

Howe stands an impressive 6-foot-4, 185 pounds from the mound. Mechanically he is sound. He uses a back step from the full-windup, high knee lift, hands stay high. He has good forward momentum, long loose arm action, throws from a high-3/4 slot. Front side is strong, stride is long with good direction, finishes over his front knee, has some weight carry which brings him forward. All the signs of above average HS velocity are there. Excited to see him in spring when his arm is fully ready to compete.
