5-foot-8 with a lanky build he possesses a plus arm across the diamond. A sure glove at third, shows maturity beyond his years and always seems calm. Quick hands at the plate, uses all fields and can drive the ball into gaps. Above average foot speed and should only improve as he grows. Plenty of upside.

Haefner stands 5-foot-9, 130 pounds. Registered a time of 4.34 seconds from home to first base. Offensively- Begins with a very wide base and slight knee bend. Hands are high above back shoulder and bat angle is flat. Uses a toe tap stride and lands slightly open. Weight transfers forward through swing. Has a short barrel path to the ball and extends through contact. Finish is high. Had an exit velocity of 82 MPH off of the tee. Defensively- In the outfield, fields ball inside the framework of his body with right foot forward. Uses a strong crow hop to get momentum going towards target. Has a strong arm that produced throws of 87 MPH. As an infielder, moves to the ball with smooth actions. Sets up with a wide base and knees bent. Fields ball in front of his body before funneling hands back into midsection. Uses a crossover step to create momentum towards target. Had a throwing velocity of 85 MPH across the diamond. Pitching- Begins with feet on each end of the rubber, body centered over middle of rubber. Uses a side step to the left as right foot toe taps to get to center of rubber. Knee lift comes to waist height at balance point. Stride is average length and lands directly in line with home plate. Arm gets slightly behind body towards 1B on backside arm circle. Quick arm coming forward at a ¾ arm slot. Produced fastballs in the 83-84 MPH range. Also threw a curveball at 65-66 MPH and a changeup at 76-77 MPH with deceptive arm speed.
