Physical: Physical 6-foot-6, 235 lb build with athleticism
Pitching: Delivery repeats with balance throughout and easy effort velo; Long whippy arm action through a clean 3/4 release. FB: Commands a heavy ball that will pllay well down in the zone with a Bauer Unit of 24 with arm side run up to 17" while averaging 12". CB: High spin breaking ball out of near same release point as FB with up to 10" of vertical drop and 12" of horizontal break. CH: Good feel with up to 17" of arm side fade.
Impressive outing for Pesca at the Campus Series: St. Johns's event. The projectable RHP has a repeatable delivery and live arm. Pesca increased his FB velocity from the New York state games earlier in the summer. FB peaked at 84 MPH and displayed a sharp CB during live game action. Pesca is a must follow.
Pesca has a projectable frame at 6-foot-5, 185 pounds. Pitching: the right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery. Pesca works with tempo. Works off a high knee lift and works downhill with intent. FB peaked at 82 MPH and displayed a plus CB in live game action. Pesca is a must follow and is a RHP with tons of upside.
