Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 163lb frame with some feel for his body. 6.86 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance at shoulder-width as the hands operated just above the shoulder to start; utilized a controlled lift and replace stride out towards the pitcher initiating the bat head through a fluid, flat path into the hitting zone. Good rotational strength and connection found in the box, staying short and inside the baseball with consistency during batting practice. Notched a 55% line drive rate (via Trackman) with a gap to gap approach, working up to a T89 mph bat-exit velocity with strong top of the order characteristics in game action and occasional doubles power.
Defensively: The outfielder demonstrated clean movements in space during defensive evaluations, operating with some pace over the toes and attacking footwork. Used a soft glove hand off the left side of his body and released accurately from an efficient H ¾ slot (84 mph arm, carry). Then slid over to his primary position in the middle infield looking comfortable setting up on-time at a strong base and shuffling in-line towards the bag after fielding. Showed a quicker trigger at a low-intent, ¾ slot (76 mph arm) that reached back for more at times. Handled the play on the run smoothly in either direction.
Physical: Lean, athletic build at 5-foot-11, 163 lbs with twitch in the actions. 6.78 runner in the 60.
Offensively: Upright, balanced stance with feet even; simple load and stride for timing; strong effort from the lower half with balance through out, barrel is quick to contact with a slight up hill finish; consistent hard contact through the middle and pull side with pop to the gap. 88 MPH peak exit velo.
Defensively: OF: Plays downhill through the ball routinely with a confident glove; long arm swing to a 3/4 release,81 MPH. INF: Athletic footwork with a quick first step; glove is soft fielding the ball in front with quick transfers; mid arm swing to a natural 3/4 release, 79 MPH
