Starts with his hands in a low position. Short stride towards the pitcher. A quick direct path to the baseball. Slight lift at the point of contact. Good use of the lower half. Stays balanced throughout his swing. Top exit velocity was 93 MPH. Defensively- The first basemen has an aggressive approach to the baseball. Stays balanced. Shows plus funnel actions. Gets rid of the ball quickly from a high arm slot. Moves well around the bag. Top throwing velocity was 80 MPH. Pitching- The RHP displayed a repeatable delivery. Uses a high knee lift and early hand separation with no wasted movement. Drives downhill from a balanced back side. Throws from a high arm slot. Shows plus command of a FB which peaked at 81 MPH ranging from 79-80 MPH. Shows a CB with a tight early spin ranging from 61-62 MPH. Shows feel for a CH at 68-69 MPH. The 2020 graduate is a must follow.
