A projectable lean build at 6-foot-4,195 pounds. Ran a 7.24 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- The right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance, slightly open. Has a slight leg lift for timing and balance before entering the hitting zone. Throws his hands into the hitting zone. Has a slight lift at the point of contact. Showed some pull side pop. Top exit velocity was 91 MPH. Defensively- As a first baseman has an aggressive approach to the baseball. Fields the baseball upright and has a quick release from a high ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity in the infield was 77 MPH. Pitching - The LHP displayed a repeatable delivery and has a projectable arm. The lefty works mainly from the right side of the rubber and has a slow controlled delivery before coming downhill with a fast live arm. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot. FB peaked at 80 MPH ranging from 77-79 MPH. Breaking ball has tight spin ranging from 62-64 MPH. Showed feel for a CH at 71-72 MPH. The 2020 graduate has tons of upside and is a must follow.
July 31, 2018 - St. Bonaventure
Projectable frame at 6-foot-4, 165-pounds. Wide setup in the box, hands quiet around his head pre-pitch. Barrel gets to the ball on a short path, slightly inclined, power to the gaps, full finish, strong and fluid (91 mph exit). 1B lean and lanky defender, moves well for the position, glove is out in front, quick transfer, strong throwing arm (77). Pitching – long lean build, quick pace to delivery, clean arm-swing, throws from a high ¾ slot, short action in the back. Fastball sits, 76-78 mph, peaked 79, CB sits 64-66 mph with hard late shape.
