Loomis is a lengthy 6-foot-3, 160 pound RHP. Pitching- Starts with his base shoulder width apart with his right foot on the rubber and his left foot halfway off the left side of the rubber. He immediately puts his head down into his side step and doesn’t pick it up until midway into his leg lift. He turns his hips away from the plate at his balance point; short with his stride; up right finish. Short arm action; works through a ¾ darm slot. FB at 78-82 MPH with some swings outside the zone. Curveball featured some slider tendencies; more 2-to-8 with some tilt at 65-70 MPH. Flashed an occasional change up at 70 MPH with some cut action.

The 2017 Righty stands 6 foot 2 and 180 pounds. With a long loose frame, he loads just above the rubber and uses a slightly above 3/4 arm slot. He lands with and finishes with a soft front leg and a consistent, balanced finish toward home plate.
