Athletic frame at 5-foot-10 165 pounds. The right-handed hitting catcher ran a 7.69 60. Offensively- Open setup with weight pre-loaded on his back side; easy load of the hands as stride works back to even while gaining ground towards the mound. Easy upper body effort with the barrel occasionally getting below the hands on an upward path. Exit velocity of 83 MPH but results play even better with some gap results.  Defensively- Soft receiver, gains ground on pop step with slight gap between glove and throwing hand on transfer. Accurate throws with some carry. Pop times ranged from 2.16-2.19 with a peak velocity of 67 MPH. Fundamentally sound on both sides of the ball, a player that should develop within the right program.

6-foot-1 with a solid frame, shows a POP time hovering in the 2.2 range with an accurate arm, impressive blocking skills with a solid glove. Smooth, fluid and repetitive motion at the plate, comfortable going to the middle third but can turn on an inside pitch. Home to first time of 4.5.
