NY Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Kalbfus has a solid 1B/RHP frame. He is 6’2” tall and weighs 205 pounds. Kalbfus runs a 7.33 (shaving .05 seconds from Feb. 2016) 60, and makes it from home to first in 4.29 seconds. Offensively- Hands at shoulder height, balanced weight, more on front foot prior to load. Transfers weight to back leg during load with slight leg kick. Hands stay at shoulder level for entire load, upright swing with very quick hands. Exit velocity: 94 MPH (up 2MPH from Feb. 2016), uses size to generate power from lower half. Defensively- fields ball out in front and has quick transfer from glove to throw. Gets off 1B well when turning double play, throws from a 3/4 and sidearm slots. Infield arm velocity: 75 MPH. Pitching- Stands tall pre-pitch, drop step off to the side of the rubber, shifts back foot towards direction of drop step just before knee comes up. High leg kick, throws slightly across body from lower ¾ arm slot, plant leg stays tall and has arm side run. FB sat 78-82 MPH with CB checking in at 68-70 with R-to-L sweeping action. CH was 69-70 MPH.
Preseason All-State (Feb. 28, 2016)
Kalbfus stands 6-foot-2, 205-pounds with a strong frame.  Offensively- Popped one of the top exit velocities at 92-mph.  At the plate he sets up tall and uses a simple load.  Loads slightly onto his front toe and keeps hands shoulder height.  Swing looks effortless and consistent.  Defensively- Showed good footwork at first and looks to be athletic enough to possibly move to a corner outfield in the future as well.  Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash and a 4.29 down the line.  Strong bodied hitter with even more in the tank at the plate as he progresses.

WNY All-Star Games (August 27, 2015)
Ryan stands at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.78 Home to 1st from the right-hand side. Defensively- At first base looked good receiving throws from the position players, nice footwork fielding through the ball, throws were on target, with a high 3/4 arm slot throwing motion.  His arm strength was at 75 MPH. Offensively- At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced stance, short leg lift stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with long/full extension through the ball.  He shows a lot of life in his bat’ with lots of power.  His exit velocity was 89 MPH.
